Hotel La Barca - Lepe

Location: the hotel was so close to Spain, the beach which was nice and sandy, and the Centro Comercial Islantilla. Plus, it was 10 minutes by car to Mercado Municipal Market. We truly enjoyed the Spanish-style building and our good sized and outstanding room with a big balcony.

Hotel La Barca was a fantastic base to explore Costa de la Luz. The Beach resorts which stretch from the Isla Cristina in the West through to Puto Umbria in the east are all worth visiting for different reasons. Then the hotel was great to relax in the evening. For us the added pleasure was not hearing English being spoken, the resorts are almost entirely Spanish.

Particularly good location in the Lepe area, Spanish style building. Free parking on-site provided.

The restaurant here was nice with decent food, we both ordered quality dishes🙂🙂

The full English breakfast at the hotel was outstanding. the location was peaceful, next to the beach and Islantilla. - It was only 1 mile from Castillo de Cartaya Castle.

Great swimming pool, quiet location, staff very friendly and helpful, even though they couldn't speak english. Free car parking. Two towns nearby. Clean rooms, comfy beds, air conditioning.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast available for us at 6am as we had early flight. Good hotel for relaxing and exploring the local area.

Our room had everything we needed - a little kitchen, air conditioning, and a spacious balcony with a great view! 🌞

The staff couln´say or understand any other than spanish. It was hard to get a breakfast as I had to order everything.

My stay at this hotel was mind-blowing! The clean and comfortable rooms with daily cleaning and fresh towels were super. The menu of the day had a veritable loaf of fresh bread and olives and pickles served prior to the meal, which was jaw-droppingly delicious. The cost was unbelievably good at €10. They accommodated my late arrival and early departure very well. My daughter loved the trampolines, playground, and space to roller skate. The tranquility outside and quiet area in the restaurant for coffee and computer use were amazing. The staff were friendly and the facilities for the kids, like the pool and play park, were top-notch. Finding available parking was easy, and the pool area with balcony was fabulous. The good-sized rooms with air conditioning made for a comfortable stay. Perfect for a quick overnight stop while traveling.
